Michael is the Association liaison to the community at large. He coordinates strategic planning, encourages the leadership to become visionary and manages the Association's business operations. He researches trends for the real estate industry and Association management. He assists, advises and supports the Greensboro Regional REALTORS® Association President, Executive Committee and Board of Directors. In addition, Michael also serves in the following capacities:

  • Ex-officio member of the Triad Multiple Listing Service Board of Directors
  • Association Liaison to the State (NCAR) and National (NAR) Associations of REALTORS® and the International Sector of NAR.
  • Primary Liaison with Association Attorney and Association CPA.

He guides the interrelated constituencies for a competitive environment, conducts financial oversight and analysis of revenue streams, and manages the staff and day-to-day operations of the Association. He also serves as the Executive Officer for the North Carolina Certified Commercial Investment Members Chapter (NC-CCIM), North Carolina Chapter of the REALTORS® Land Institute (NCRLI), and the Carolinas Chapter of Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS® (CSIOR).

The Commercial Division Coordinator. She helps coordinate the NC-CCIM, Carolinas RLI, RCA of Greensboro, SIOR Carolinas, SIOR Southeastern Region, and NC-CRS chapters. She is the first stop for information regarding their respective membership, manages the marketing for the chapters, and helps to organize their conferences, meetings, and continuing education needs.

Nick Scarci
Local Government Affairs Director

Nick facilitates GRRA's civic and political involvement. As Government Affairs Committee staff liaison, Nick communicates GRRA's message to community leaders and executive staff from the Guilford County Board of Commissioners, the Greensboro City Council, and the Guilford County Board of Education. In addition, Nick writes NAR grants for GRRA and oversees grant-funded, REALTOR®-involved projects from planning to completion.

Barbara P. Gilliland

Barbara advises, assists and supports the Chief Executive Officer in all matters relating to the financial well-being of the Association. She tracks the Association's investments and revenue sources. She maintains the Association's human resource records and performs bookkeeping functions for the GRRA and its affiliate divisions. Barbara is the Administrator for the Institute for Real Estate Management (IREM) Chapter #56. She also serves as staff liaison to the REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC), the Audit and Leadership Development committees, as well as the GRRA's Foundation.

Sharon Gray

Sharon assists new members in joining the Association and plans and executes the Association's orientation events. She plans and oversees the GRRA's continuing education classes and assists the planning and execution of Association luncheons and special events. She also assists in special projects for the Chief Executive Officer and acts as the staff liaison to the REALTORS® Community Service Committee and the Education Committee.

Stacee Lyles

Serves as the GRRA's first point of contact.  She fields telephone calls and directs them to the appropriate staff members and assists the Director of Office and Financial Operations with billing entries and mailings.  Also is in charge of the GRRA's library, the REALTOR® Store and assists in various association projects.

Peter Johnston

Peter, our resident technology expert, assists our membership with support in Multiple Listing Service (MLS) issues.  He addresses issues in the Supra system and coordinates the GRRA, GRRA-RCA, NC-CCIM, Carolinas Chapter of SIOR and NCRLI websites.  Acting as the staff liaison to the Technology Users Group, Peter ensures the even flow of information and implementation of new technologies.  Peter supports the technical infrastructure of the Association, which includes training in software and hardware applications and providing technical support to the GRAA staff.

Brittany serves as the Association's Public Relations & Marketing Manager. She serves as the contact person for the local, state and national media as well as a staff liaison to the  Awards and Nominating Committees. Brittany is responsible for all internal and external communications for the Association. This includes e-newsletters, content for the Association's social media outlets and the website as well as marketing and advertising efforts of the Association.

Rekeeda McCoy

Rekeeda responds to customer inquiries about facility rental.  Markets the Oak Branch Events and Conference Center through outside sales calls, prospecting, direct mail, networking and referrals.  She ensures successful events that meet both the client needs and company's guidelines and manages events from initial sale through successful completion.
